#AmIRC Undernet

Just another channel on the undernet? Possibly. More than likely what you will find when you visit our channel is a sense of friendship. #AmIRC started out like any other channel....to provide something for those seeking guidence. In this case, Amiga related guidence. Since then, we have grown into a family. We are a diverse group of people. You will find people from The United Kingdom, Austrailia, The United States, Canada, South Africa and Brazil here. There is no age requirement either. Many of our members are teen agers even. If the thought of talking to teen agers scares you, then you need to stop by and have a chat. You might find that talking to teens can more enjoyable than you thought. English is still the primary speaking language, however, some of us know other languages, including Dutch, German and French

Just because the channel name is #amirc does not mean that if you are not using an Amiga computer, you are not welcomed. Feel free to drop by and say hi. Not everyone that comes to #amirc has an Amiga computer. Some use Window machines, Macintoshes or some other type of computer. Amiga is still the preferred choice of computer but not a requirement to stop by and have a good time.

Unfortunately due to the Situations the Amiga computer has gone through, there is NO official tech-support available to the Amiga user. We strive to do our best to fill that void with all of our combined experiences with the Amiga platform. We can't solve every problem. But we will try! :)

Long Live the Amiga
